I been getting braids for years but this time I went to Sugar Braids for Senagalese twist. After about a week my hair starting frizzing up really bad. In my opinion, resolving this issue would have entailed a complete refund or redo that involved tucking my natural hair. However, I did not have hours available for take out and re-twist. Sugar Braids in Silver Spring is a gem! The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and the owner’s friendliness instantly puts you at ease. My appointment started right on time, and when there were small issues with the hair, they patiently listened, redid it, and made sure I was happy with every step. I truly felt taken care of from start to finish. The customer service is absolutely fantastic, and I will definitely be returning.

I just relocated to the DMV area and found this shop on IG. It was the first time ever braiding my hair and I had a beautiful experience. The Ladies were extremely professional and sweet. They were so gentle and patient with me. Will be bringing my son for his braids. Definitely 100% recommend!

This salon is a bad joke. Just read the owners responses. They do shabby work and then make excuses to blame the customers for their poor business practices and greed. They did a horrible job on my daughter’s hair.
