This salon is a bad joke. Just read the owners responses. They do shabby work and then make excuses to blame the customers for their poor business practices and greed. They did a horrible job on my daughter’s hair.
I had a great experience at Sugar Braids. I was a walk in customer and got small medium knotless braids. They look great, and came out neat and light. The owner was very kind and the stylists were pleasant. The price was reasonable and they took me as a walk in. Based off my experience, I would recommend this braid shop! I appreciate that they used hypoallergenic hair. I also appreciate that the owner took time to check the braids and make some revisions before I left. I just won a judgement against this company - DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!! Go look at my tiktok @shavonneantoinette Justice was served!! She avoided being served for 8 months but they got her! Offered fraudelent services for $1400 and refused to give me my money back so I sued her and won! Do NOT go here if you value your money!!

There are three reasons why I would not recommend sugar braiding: -No transparency in price/ billing: After conducting a consultation via WhatsApp, I followed up asking the total price of my service. I was told $350. Agreeing to the reasonable price, I began saving towards my hair. In the shop, the lady did not remember the pricing of our original agreement.
