I made an appointment for my daughter and i this past weekend. While my daughters’ fulani braids turned out wonderfully, I on the other hand had a terrible experience. I made a 4pm appointment and the same day was asked to come 2 hours earlier which i graciously agreed to. Marie was my stylist at the appointment. I've been going to this shop for a year and a half. The owner is always responsive to my requests and the prices are reasonable. It's the only place I trust to install and remove my microbraids. Not to mention, my braids are always secure but my scalp never ever hurts after getting my braids installed. No head patting or waiting for a braid headache to go away. The ladies are nice and they do good work. The new location on Georgia is really spacious and very convenient.
They’ve done stellar work every time. I always get so many compliments! Great camaraderie amongst the ladies as well. Will be there next time!
If you want a great consult before any work is started on your hair, you found the right place. If you want a large selection of hair or if you want to bring your own hair, you have that option. The salon is clean, quiet and very professional.
They used the worst synthetic hair to braid my hair. And now for $300, I have to carry this rough scratchy bed nest of a hair. Will never go here again. Edit: I got the juicy knotless braids. You said you would use a mix of synthetic and human hair. The hair was a hot mess right after she dipped in water. By the next day, it was fully matted and tangling. I can’t put the hair down. Who charges $300 for this mess?
