This is my favorite store in the neighborhood, I like the variety of organic and local products, the atmosphere and the fact it is a co-op! And it's open early at 7 am!
Love the Sugar Beet! It feels like home walking in to the friendly staff. I'm excited about more produce popping up now that the weather may be getting warmer. Those great local indoor tomatoes were a lifesaver through the winter though! I love the local meats and great bulk section. The cheeses are wonderful and I loved meeting the farmers making them. It makes me feel really good about buying their products. The prepared food and smoothies, juices are great for a healthy meal on the go. Reasonably priced too!

The Beet is a place that you've got to get to! The the beet hummus...a must. The GF flour ... pie maker's must. The Big Fork sausages...a meat eater's must. The fine fresh herbs...a real treat!
Great Selection of produce, staples and fresh food. Would've liked to have seen more fresh fish.

Thanks Andrea DiPasquale! While we carry some frozen fish, fresh fish is something we likely won't carry in the near future... we just don't have enough demand for it right now. Our friends at Carnivore Oak Park have an amazing selection, though. Check them out!
