One of the worst departments I have ever dealt with. They are not sympathetic and they just want to rob people of their hard earned money. Do not want to listen to reason. They even told me that they don’t even sympathize with widows…… they are cold hearted and inhumane.
I paid off my mortgage and I did not get any letter from the town or county saying that your taxes are due on this date. I found out I am 20 days overdue to pay it. They charged me 1100 dollars as a penalty. Tried to talk to them but they are so rude did not listen.
The dark haired lady (maybe Indian?) is rude & slow. This is what our taxes cover?
