Very good food and fast service by cook and waitresses.the owner and his wife are great people to deal with.
2nd time here and still not impressed with the food at all...we went specifically for Smoked BBQ and Brisket left hungry still..bbq taste leftover for a few days & brisket was so touch my dogs could use it for chews..Holy cow it was also smothered in some BBQ sauce we found not tasteful. I wished we could have found a good review to post but I just couldn't. We watched them take a rubbermaid container of BBQ and place it in the Microwave perhaps to thaw out? First time in downtown Suffolk and happened upon Suffolk BBQ Co at lunchtime. I have long lamented the lack of good BBQ in Southeast Virginia but this place has restored my faith. I am a BBQ snob and this place is GOOD. Highly recommend. Bonus: friendly owner and staff. Owner recognized that I was a new face and asked me what I thought, thanked me and shook my hand. I will be back!

The staff there are very polite. The food was delightful and very good. This is a good barbecue place if you live in Suffolk and want some good barbecue go here. They also answered all my questions I had about a hot dog and I was craving for and I thought that was very nice of them. My favorite is the chicken oh my omg it is delicious.
Wow. I lived in Suffolk for over 3 years and had not tried this place. Shame on me! The food and the service are fantastic! We had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich with onion rings and coleslaw. All were great. I had the Smoky pork BBQ Nachos grande!! Awesome. Loved every single bite and each was loaded with goodness. Can't wait to go back!
