Sucrose Bakery is truly a hidden gem and easily one of my favorite spots to stop into. From the second you walk through the door, you’re welcomed by the most charming, friendly staff who genuinely make you feel appreciated as a customer. I just visited for the first time. I loved it! I didn't even know they had coffee so that was a pleasant surprise. I bought the German Chocolate Cake, Blueberry Tart, and a Lemon Poppy Muffin. Next time I visit I'll be trying the Strawberry Rhubarb pie and the New York Coffee Cake.
Sucrose Bakery is one of my favorite local bakeries in St. Charles. The coffee is consistently excellent, and every Saturday they bake fresh chocolate croissants that are, in my opinion, the best in town. I also love that they support local artists and I have bought a tote bag, a mug, and a card. If you’re looking for good food and a nice place for breakfast, then you should visit Sucrose Bakery!
I bought mom her two favorite cakes-German chocolate and carrot cake for her birthday. I also bought 4 macarons and they're really, really good! Will come back!
