Having moved from its 77 year old home, the Subway Inn Bar has settled on 2nd Avenue. The glitzy yet iconic sign of the bar still hangs above its entrance, signalling its fans of its new location. A bar that gained a raging popularity over the years, still harbors avid party-goers. This 1930s-inspired dive bar stays open every day of the week till 4a and serves chilled beer and great atomic wings among other things.

Celebrated our engagement here the next day with a great Bloody Mary. Returned before heading back to Chicago. It really hit home coming from the longest running bar in Illinois that this place might be gone. We hope to return again and see it survive this tough time. Long live subway inn!!
