Serious Food Safety Issue – Avoid This Subway Visited Subway Hobart 14/07/25 with my 13-year-old son while on interstate holiday. Meat in the display looked grey and off. My son ordered teriyaki chicken, which wasn’t in the display – staff went out back and came back saying, “Found some,” raising serious concerns. The lady there who just served me is an ignorant and rude person. She was absolutely oblivous to the instructions we gave her to make the sandwich, and practically threw it at me once it was done. The worst experience ive ever had. She put on mutiple wrong ingredients and when i asked for them to be removed, she just ignored us. I had to pick off the olives, and capsicum as i have an allergy to the capsicum. I clearly stated that i didn't want any and that I AM allergic to capsicum. Wrap, wasn't even folded properly, it fell apart the second i lifted it. Toasted sandwich tasted horrible, the ingredients were probably out of date or something. The drink, yes a simple bottled drink, look tampered with and tasted funny. Cookies, were abnormally hard, and it tasted like there were chemicals in it. This is the worst subway i have ever been to.
After making a split second decision to stop at Subway to end our night, my boyfriend and I stepped into the presence of an angel. Nishi, my one and only, everything that I hold near and true, and a wonderful representation of the values that are paramount at Subway. Helpful, informative and downright benevolent, I wouldn’t have wanted my lovely time in Hobart to conclude with any other experience other than the joyous interaction I had with Nishi.
