I waited 10 minutes for an employee to come out of the back to help me. I called the store 8 times and nobody answered. The woman who came out said she was busy prepping. I’m sorry, but there is no reason to use prepping as an excuse. Your not going to have to prep anything if you don’t serve your customers. The woman had air pods in her ears so likely didn’t hear me come in and didn’t hear my 8 phone calls. Employees shouldn’t be wearing those if it prevents them from serving the customer. I’m pregnant & they were so offensively rude to us and uses the language barrier to get by whilst speaking and switching to his native language in front of customers to talk about them. The manager Isabella isn’t any better either, could not de-escalate any situation and thinks her one time check ins into the store means it’s running well. It’s not.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered 2 medium fountain drinks for $6 dollars and when I poured out the drinks they all tasted bad, when I asked to switch it out the worker said yes at first but then said no and that would mess up inventory. I asked for a refund so that I can pay for the bottled drinks instead and he said no which made no sense to me considering the fountain drinks cost more than the bottles. 2 bottled drinks cost $5. Food is made nasty even with supposed fresh ingredients…Cashier needs to be replaced with someone who knows what they’re doing.
I walked out feeling so disappointed. Racism in subway. This whole franchise has to go, from management not handling the situation properly to them encouraging their employees to act the way they do. Cashier needs to go!
