Love subway! The food was great but the staff at this location has always lacked customer service skills. We came today for a quick bite and decided to try the pretzels, the staff lacked to tell us the cheese was gone until they handed our pretzels over. While it wasn’t a huge deal, it definitely made them dry.

I just picked up two rotisserie chicken footlong subs there at 2:00 this afternoon. I walk in the door and the first thing I see is "L", a manager, coming out of the door from the preparation area. She looks at me, assessed in a half-second whether it was worth it to waste her breath on a "Hello" to me, decided it wasn't, and kept walking to the back. There was no one else in the store. Before Covid, this place was absolutely amazing. One of the best Subways in Cedar Rapids. Every time I go there now, it's an absolute joke. I was in a couple Sundays ago and the kid behind the counter informed me that they didn't have any meat to make any sandwiches, that they could make me a veggie sub with some cheese on it, or a tuna sandwich- THAT"S IT. And they told me that if I wanted a sandwhich to go to the one by Linn Mar High School, because they had meat for sandwiches. I asked why not the one on Council street...... read more
