We were in line for 15 minutes and still 4th in line because no one in front of us had checked out. An older lady walked in with her subway shirt on went behind the counter said something to the 2 younger employees and was walking out with no help offered to speed things along. My husband asked if she was the manager she said she was he asked if they could speed things up and she yelled across the store for them to hurry it up. So slow! It took me more than 15 minutes to get one sandwich and there was only 1 person ahead of me. Instead of starting mine while the previous order was in the toaster, the employee made small talk with the customer, asking multiple questions about his job when the customer was not at all receptive to chit-chat. Every glove he opened, every piece of cheese he peeled, was like in slow motion. When it’s a weekday lunch hour, please, skip the small talk and work with a sense of urgency.
