Update: they are permanently closed, all the equipment has been moved out. The space is for rent as of 01/27/25. OK I gave them another shot, nope they still retain the title of the worst subway ever. One employee doing everything yet again, Italian bread, still smashed like someone stepped on it, top of the tables, so gross that it reminds me of the last time I was at the state fair . I ordered online and asked for lettuce, black olives and cucumbers. Only got cucumbers. When I called to politely ask for a refund or another sandwich, they didn’t answer the phone. Someone finally answered after the 5th call and they proceeded to set the phone down and walk away.
Forgot the lettuce on my wife’s sandwich and forgot to toast it.
On 7/2/24, I visited the Subway shop near the Chateau theater in Rochester, MN on East Circle Dr. I was surprised to see that customers can no longer view the “fresh” food item options and see a sandwich or salad being put together since a metal cover now hides the options and the process of making a sandwich. I asked the employee about it and was told it was put there to stop the light from impacting the color of the freshly sliced roast beef.
