The girls behind the counter are very unfriendly. It's like they're working for free.
I get really disappointed when a customer service representative treats you badly, takes the food you're buying and slams it on the table as if it were just any object, looks at the customer with contempt, asks questions with annoyance... Well, today I had one of those days with a representative named "Nate." That's what happens when there's no other option nearby to buy your lunch. We have to go through this often.
I really wish truck stops would stop leasing their space to Subway. This franchise has been on the decline for years… and with so many better options available - I can’t imagine many people eat it because they really want to. They eat here out of convenience. I was about 90% sure my bread was stale just looking at it. One bite, and sure enough, it tastes at least 24 hours old. Probably much more. How is that even possible?
