Best subway in Cedar Rapids. As someone who used to work at a subway, I have high standards. Last night my sister and I went to grab a sub to share. The sandwhich artist’s name was Steven. He was very nice and helpful. He made the best constructed (and best tasting) subway sandwhich I have had. Often when I get a sandwhich it not very well made. He arranged the meat and veggies on the bread in the way it should be done. Someone please get this dude to train all of the new hires, because he does it the best!
Kirkwood subway is the best!!!
I come in sometimes and the store is very clean, even if there are crumbs early in the day, you KNOW they'll sweep that up every day. The staff are nice and friendly, and know how to talk and laugh with you without getting too distracted. With each instruction and ingredient you ask for, they'll put it on perfectly. I feel welcomed when I come in because of the staff's dedication to serve me.

The gentleman working alone today was very well groomed and had perfect hygiene and attention to detail on my sandwich. He went above and beyond for me and my husband for our lunch, he was on break eating his own sandwich when we walked in - he was very ... read more
I usually expect mediocrity when I go to a fast food establishment. I was pleasantly surprised by this Subway. The store was super busy but the worker behind the counter flew through the line and I got my food quick. I got a meatball sub and it was legit the best one I've ever had. The lady making my food was super upbeat and seemed like she was actually happy to be doing what she was doing, which is EXTREMELY rare in this day and age. Usually people act miserable to be doing their jobs, but the staff I dealt with were very ... read more
