Just got a sandwich from here, and I have to say that this is the worst subway I have been to in the Springs. The lady who was working was very cold and blunt. You could see how annoyed she was that you walked in the door. The back area was trashed. The cutter was filthy, and they had almost no veggies prepped and ready to go. Avoid this location if possible. I threw my sandwich away and went to a different location.
I want to give a special shoutout to Ashley at the Subway on Chestnut and Fillmore in Colorado Springs. She was the only employee working the entire restaurant by herself, with no manager visibly present, while handling a fairly large crowd. Despite the pressure, Ashley stayed patient, professional, pleasant, and focused. Horrible customer service this morning. I called in an order to be ready at 11:05. When I got there I stood in line because I saw that many people were in line and my order still wasn’t started. When I got to the front, with still one person behind me, my order still wasn’t started at 11:05.
