An extraordinarily disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. When we reached the hotel, there were already two police units and a K9 unit at the property, which was certainly an rather unsettling first impression. Unfortunately, matters did not improve from there. We had made our reservation three days in advance, received a confirmation number and reservation details, and the full amount had already been charged to our bank card. Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, okay lighting, good AC, remodeled bathroom, lots of local places for food and shopping Cons: - The building is on a major intersection and it's routinely loud - There was a major amount of cigarette smoke in the hall coming from the rooms. It seeped into my room, and I put towels under the door to keep it out. - While there was a kitchen in the room, it came with no utensils, plates, etc. You need to bring your own. - There were no glasses/cups, standard in hotel rooms - There was an ironin... read more
