reviews are consistent, keep away from this company. Current rate is $3.979/gallon, yikes. Should you want to leave this company, they provide no services - you are responsible for excavation, fuel transfer (to new tank), disconnection, and pickup; for a tank they own. They quite essentially have handcuffs on the homeowner to stay with the company.

After calling around to fill tanks totaling 2,000 gallons of propane… Best Price Propane Co. was truly the best price after calling about six propane companies. And they gave us a discount under agricultural use as the two tanks were solely for a barn. The office folks were always super nice on the phone any time I called. Thanks for being so good to deal with! They beat Suburban Propane by a mile! Suburban Propane is way overpriced!

Terrible company, terrible service, terrible communication, predatory practices. Always ready to over charge you no matter what’s going on.

Got one fill up, and they were very difficult to deal with because I don't use any credit cards. It was really annoying trying to get service from them. I decided to skip propane completely. Tanks been sitting here empty for 5 years. They want me to pay to keep their unused equipment in my back yard which started at $10 a year, then jumped to $53 a year. Now they want me to pay $150 for them to pick it up??? Gee... read more

terrible company from NJ HQ on down. called to get a quote or idea of the process to remove tanks from a house i bought. because they filled the tanks while i was moved in I paid them the last bill. At nearly 6$ a gallon plus tank rental and other fees it was laughable. So They said it would be no big deal to remove them and credit me the propane. I told them I would call back to schedule the removal as ill need a few weeks to prep a new setup. well they just came and took the tanks without notifying me, essentially trespass... read more
