Visited here with the family a couple of days ago and it was a great experience. We had some delicious cocktails (bourbon) and the deviled eggs to get things started. We indulged in the shrimp and grits, jambalaya, southern fried steak, and the fried chicken! All of the entrees were spectacular, but my favorite was probably the shrimp and grits. Portion sizes were reasonable and the food was prepared quick. I highly recommend Subourbon Southern Kitchen for a solid southern meal.
Nice place, nice people. Just the food was not great. Might give it another chance but it will be awhile.
Blackened catfish was over salted. I scraped off seasoning w a napkin. Both of our meals were a soggy mess. But Brussel sprouts were fantastic! We didn’t finish and didn’t take to-go boxes either.
