My experience with Dr. Javia was deeply disappointing and aligned with the negative reviews I’ve read about him. He was rude, disrespectful, and even suggested I couldn’t speak English because I am from China—despite my fluency and higher education in the U.S.He also lacked basic medical knowledge, assuming I had HIV when I mentioned taking a preventative medication. Dr. Javia, I'd like to believe, saved my life. Throughout many dark times, he walked me through everything. He doesn't just throw pills at you. He listens, cares, and works with you to see what will best help.
This guy. Where do I start? Similar to the review above, he also got sick of me calling his office, despite the fact that I had to call because of his poor, unprofessional wording on a medical document I needed for work. After he had enough of that, he called me up, told me I had 30 days to find a new doctor, and now I'm trying to make an appointment to try and talk to him and change his mind. Go to someone else.
Dr. Javia is a kind person who actually listens to you instead of simply throwing medications at you. His interest goes beyond the basics of psychiatry, and he makes you feel safe and cared for. After 5 years of looking for a psychiatrist, I finally found one!
Dr. Javia is a heartless human being who is only after the money. My husband was dealing with anxiety and the meds he put him on where interacting with another he is taking. My husband kept calling him to tell him that something wasn't right and he felt awful. Dr. (I'm laughing hysterically) Javia told my husband "i can't help you anymore. Find someone else" He then went into a deep depression is currently hospitalized getting the PROPER care from Drs who took their oath seriously.
