I recently concluded my relationship with this gym. The training and the instructors were good. I enjoyed the program and learned a lot. The gym itself is adequate for its purpose. Upon joining, I was informed I had to sign a six month payment agreement. I did so. I decided to end my membership because my drive to and from classes (1hr each way) became too burdensome and not because of the quality of instruction. I've been a gym rat my entire life. Have lived in 5 big metro areas (Houston, DC, Denver, Portland, and SA). In terms of overall fitness modalities, you can't beat this place. The classes are like crossfit in intensity without the dangerous stuff, plus there's far more variability in equipment and routines based on the overall gym size. I would give this location on Fredericksburg in San Antonio if given the chance. I placed a complaint 1 yr ago and just recently got feedback that it basically fell on deaf ears. I want people to know that i inquired about this location then was unable to make it/ had changed my mind due to recent events. When i called to let the guy know he became pushy over the phone so i hung up on him. After i did that he called back and left a voicemail, twice. Who does that in a " professional" environment??????!!!
