My name is Kosrat Taimory, i had to go to Sturgeon Hospital in St Albert a while back for my illness, and they were really great with the treatment they provided, i was not doing well at all, so i really appreciate the care i was given, i have played soccer in Canada my entire life and i was worried that my illness would lead to something worse, but they took great care of me and i’m very grateful. I am able to slowly get back to soccer now, so i just wanted to thank the doctors and nurses who helped me recover.
I was in this hospital recently, arrived at 11 am and was admitted close to 9 pm, discharged an hour later. The doctor refused to run more tests apart from blood and urine. I was in for some severe symptoms, they just provided me tons of pills, and the doctor told me I would only receive more thorough exams if I was “dying.” Those were her exact words. When I told her that was reassuring, she stated that it was too busy. The nurse was very kind though, she comforted me and told me everything will be okay.
Went in for an allergic reaction and was terrified. The triage nurse made me feel so safe that I let out tears I was holding back the entire drive to the hospital. I will never forget the compassion and care I received here
