I had my very first and probably last experience at this store on October 18th. Walked in the store was extremely cluttered from the moment we walked in. Wandered around for a bit and found some clothes for my son but looking at the prices I thought some were outrageous.. I understand this is consigned stuff but $14 for one pair of kids used pants is ridiculous when I could buy two brand new pairs for that price at Walmart or Target. This was the worst experience I've ever had with this kind of establishment. I left a big box of. Dry good designer clothes and was told I would receive an email within 48 hours regarding which items were accepted and which weren't. I checked off the box "Do NOT donate" items that weren't accepted. I didn't receive the email, so I drove 30 miles out of my way to the store and then was told that a "mistake" had been made and the (perfectly good) items that weren't accepted had been donated. I have shopped at stuff a number of times, mostly just go in to "look around" with no intention of purchasing while my wife shops for her self. Never fails I always find something whether it is clothes or a random item for the man cave. Staff seemed very friendly to people who showed them equal respect. Store could be more organized but I understand it's tough to do when you have multiple families with little kids that want to pick everything up and move it around. I bought a children's movie last November for my son for Christmas. It was a 2 disc movie, gave it to him as an early present only to find out it was just the digital copy of the movie and not that actual dvd, missing the 2nd disc. Fine, shrugged it off and never mentioned it. Then Monday 9/5 I bought another children's movie and it was tapped shut so I figured it had been checked by the store and then sealed. Nope. Kelsey, Were you able to return the dvd when you brought it back? On electronics, including DVDs and CDs we offer a 24hr return so they could definitely return it for you here in the store. I apologize for the trouble you have had with your purchases. We try to look inside every movie and cd that comes into the store. Also, we would be more then happy to open any cd or dvd at the register for you before the final purchase. Very disappointed that they think they are a retail store. They won't take gently used clothing. Shoes that have tiny bit of scuff on the toe. I'd still wear them but I found others that I like better. Reverseable shorts that they won't take because there is no tag. Well they are reverseable, whos going to wear atag o the outside?
