Lone Fir is the best, and has a little of something for everyone (or all parts of yourself!) I joined to learn how to weight lift, and then later got into Pilates as well, which ended up building strength in amazing ways. The instructors are so personable and knowledgeable, and they clearly make an effort to make classes work for everyone. I used the gym for an open session and it had everything I needed for my workout. I also happened to lose my wedding band at the gym but someone found it and the staff kept it safe for me. Would highly recommend!!
Love this community gym. Megan’s Pilates class is the best I’ve found in Portland! She makes an extremely hard workout fun / funny and yet my abs / quads are in so much pain the next day. If you wanna get ripped, Megan is your girl.
Love the vibe. Friendly and engaged. Beautiful space with a couple of skylights, 15 foot tall plants, and nice overall design with good quality equipment, hand wash stations, and everyone is in the habit of sanitizing equipment after use so the place feels pretty clean. All the teachers and the students were really nice. People noticed I was new and were actively welcoming. The owners clearly care about doing a stellar job, and they respond well to requests and suggestions. Thank you!!!
