Awful, just awful - that was my experience at Studio Pink. I purchased a Living Social voucher for a haircut and highlight package for this studio. Sadly, instead I walked away with chunks of hair hacked from the crown of my head in the stylists overzealous use of thinning shears and orangey streaks for highlights. I saw Denna. She was hurried with me and left before I'd even finished paying and getting my bags together. She rushed out of the store as soon as I tipped her. I would never return to this salon. Denna, the owner, did my hair. I was expecting chunky all over blonde and red highlights, that is not what I was given. I was given very small, half scalp blonde and red highlights. She kept going out and taking smoke breaks every couple of foils, which made me and my hair smell like smoke. The other stylists in there were talking about drinking, parties and other inappropriate topics. This is not a professional salon at all. It was not worth $70. I absolutely LOVE this salon. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Allison did my hair and was able to give me exactly the right color and the cut was amazing. She's one of the few hairstylists who have given me such a good cut that I am able to go home, wash and style my hair myself and get just as good a look as I had when I left the salon. I have been searching for a great stylist ever since I moved to Fort Collins in 2003 and I finally found one at Studio Pink. They all do phenomenal work and Kristin is able to cut my curly and thick hair into wonderful hair styles that grow out so well. She is also the master of color. Highly, highly recommend!!
