This studio is amazing!! As a queer goth person, I don't often feel comfortable in most places, but this salon and the amazing staff always make me feel so safe and welcomed :-). They always make sure you're comfortable and ask before doing anything. I got the lovely Brook and got a wolf cut done. They did an awesome job and understood exactly what I wanted! Best haircut I've ever gotten and the only place I'll ever go to for my hair ♡
Awesome and queer friendly! If you're afab looking for a masculine haircut like I am, trust you'll get what you're looking for. Rach always does an excellent job with my hair, feels great and I always get compliments on my hair when I'm out and about. Can't recommend them enough.
As someone who has always felt out of place in a “typical” salon, I could not speak any more highly of everyone at Studio Misfits. All of the gorgeous staff are so welcoming and friendly, my social anxiety does not stand a chance against this studio. Rubee and Rachel have done absolute wonders to my hair both times I have been. A no judgement zone. I was so grateful for all of the amazing staff for making me feel beautiful!! I recently came out of a depressive episode and I needed my long hair to come off - I came in with vibes and words I didn't really understand and they exceeded my expectations and more - completely understanding exactly what I needed. I risked it and got a haircut! I normally don't because I never get a good cut so I just grow it long. My sister got a sick haircut from Racheal at Misfits so I thought I'd give them a go. I'm so glad I did! I even messed up my booking and came in two weeks early but Brook made a space for me and made it happen. Love my new do and have faith in hairdressing once more. So refreshing to find someone who loves what they do. Thanks to Brook and the team🙏
