I love Samantha! She is the owner of Studio LaRue in Oak Harbor. She is my stylist and we discuss my wishes every time, My girlfriends tell me they love the colors she puts in my hair and for me not to ruin what she is doing! They say just let her do “her” thing!! I am always very happy with the outcome. The other stylists are all friendly and professional as well! Thanks Sam🩷

This salon is a comfortable, friendly, and welcoming salon to visit. I love going to see the girls and have Samantha Larue do my hair. She is extraordinary at blonde and extensions. She gives me my dream hair without it looking fake.

Edited response to owners response: I want to clarify a few inaccuracies in the salon’s reply. The owner was not present during my consultation or appointment. The salon was busy and loud, and the owner was occupied servicing another client and was not involved in my consultation or service. I was also NEVER told that my hair would need to be lightened to achieve my goal. I specifically requested a darker, richer brown (level 3), not a lighter result. I booked an all-over color and haircut with Danyhelle. I was very clear going into the appointment that I was unhappy with my current color, which I had been maintaining myself with Madison Reed 3.5, and that I wanted a richer, warmer brown because my hair was looking dull and flat from years of getting a neutral 4N. It’s always nerve-wracking finding a hair stylist in a new city, but this is IT! Samantha did a fabulous job on my hair! It turned out even better than I hoped. She was so personable & easy to talk with, too. A great experience all around.
