I’d think twice about moving here because of the number of Airbnb and short-term rentals in the building. We’ve had to move out because of noise from the unit above us, which I was told is a short-term rental. It’s been not only physically and mentally exhausting, but also a financial burden since we have to break our lease. Obviously, the management can't really do much about noise. I understand that. My experience in this building has been extremely disappointing. The sound insulation is far below reasonable expectations. I can clearly hear the upstairs child calling for their parents, playing with toys, dropping balls, and running back and forth. The impact noise is so loud that even with earplugs, I have been woken up from sleep. After raising the issue, management responded by saying that children have rights as well, which I fully understand.
