ANN IS THE BEST!!! :) I have been going to Ann for 6 months now. She is the first stylist in 29 years to give me the right haircut and the perfect color, The negative reviews are surprising as I have always had an A+ experience. She makes coffee for me, gets magazines and makes sure I am comfortable. She is kind and thoughtful, and experienced, I don't care how much they charge, if you have to ask how much it costs then you probably don't have the money. Will not be going back I will not go back again to Studio 162. My stylist was 20 minutes late, double booked me with another client, had an assistant wash and style me, and the services were not satisfactory. When you go to an "upscale" salon you would expect to be treated as if you're the only client in the salon. Not in this case...very dissapointed. The front desk was friendly but the manager and stylist gave me attitude. Not okay.
This salon is worth going to! Boycott the salon?? Please...eveytime i have gone into studio 162 i have been greeted with friendly smiles great business and im always leaving happy. It sounds like to me someone is a little bitter and needs to keep their comments to themselves. If your looking for a great salon with a great atmosphere and great stylists then check it out!
Love Studio 162!!! After trying unsuccessfully to find a stylist to manage my difficult, long and high maintenance hair, a friend recommended me to this place. After trying several of their stylist, (all were great) I settled on one in the last year. Her name is Lyndsay. Amazing Service! I have been a very satisfied client at Studio 162 for over seventeen years! Like many other stylists at this salon, my stylist Amy has always taken an extra mile to make me leave the studio feeling very happy and looking forward to my next pampering session! She has even offered and did work on my hair outside the salon during my illness and cancer treatment countless times! No one can beat that!!! She is amazingly caring and, very proffessional at the same time.
pricey but satisfying! i've been to the salon once. moved to the neighborhood not too long ago so i decided to check it out since i don't like to drive too far to get a hair cut. i was a walk in and they accomadated me. the stylist spent a good amonut of time washing drying cutting and styling my hair. almost 2 hours,a little too long i guess. it was pricey but i was happy with my hair cut. i was just disappointed because while shampooing my hair she got my back wet and had water dripping my sides and she commented that the ... read more
Loved my pedicure & nails New to Vancouver a women told me about Studio 162. The manicurist offered to stay late to get me in. She was warm, friendly and professional she had me relaxed in no time in their private pedicure room. I walked out with a great pedicure and the best set of nails ever. happy with my hair Like all great hair salons, this one does not come cheap . I paid close to 50 bucks for my hair cut, seems the longer your hair is the higher the charge. However my stylist was really good and really seems to know what she was doing. She offered many great suggestions and I was generally happy with my hair at the end of the day.
Studio 162 Supposedly, this is one of the more cutting-edge type salons in Vancouver. I had my hair done here twice, until my stylist moved to another shop. There is a very high turnover rate, as per usual in the business. Most of the stylists are very young, pierced, and spunky. It is a haven for gossip.
