I had gone to Studio 127 for 7 years and this review has nothing to do with the staff as they are amazing. After there was a change in ownership a few years ago things quickly went downhill. She insisted on buying cheaper knock off amazon based products but did not adjust the prices to reflect this. I regularly would get manicured then by the same woman and suddenly they would be chipping within days because of the poor product she was forced to use. Studio 127 gave me a clean buzz cut today! Don’t be fooled by the word “salon” — I was a bit hesitant at first, unsure if they could pull off a proper buzz cut. But I took a chance, walked in, and they absolutely delivered with a sharp no-guard buzz. Highly recommend this place, whether you're local or just passing through. The staff is amazing and super professional.
I have been to Heather a few times now - for cuts and recently some colouring. My most recent visit was for some colour; I proposed what I thought I wanted - subtle highlights - but after some conversation with Heather and Starr, Heather suggested lowlights instead. It was a great suggestion and I really like the result. I appreciated the consultation and the explanation around the options presented!
After my regular stylist retired, I was grateful to find Studio 127. Over the last 2½ months I have been there twice for a shampoo, haircut and style. I was very happy with the results from each visit, each time having a different stylist. Starr did a fabulous job with my cut and style. Just this week I was happy to be reacquainted with Heather, who had done my hair before at a previous salon. Thanks for your friendly and professional service Studio 127!
