I am a student at Fresno state and I heard from a professor that I could go to the health services on campus for doctors notes when not feeling well. Well, I woke up this morning not feeling well, and decided that I would call and see how the program worked. I was met with such rudeness by the receptionist (some older woman, I don’t know who), after asking for more information about how it worked. The group counseling was great and helped with feeling isolated. Medical providers and staff are professional and respectful.
I have very good experiences here! The providers and staff are very helpful, supportive, and welcoming; plus, they are quite competent at their specialties. There are struggles sometimes due to the complexity of budgets and procedures, sure.. I had to personally adjust the google address a while back because it was wrong, for instance. But overall, I SO appreciate the people who work here and the fact that these services are available at Fresno State!! Thank you all!
I am a student here, I fell and my hand was bleeding, but they said that I have to make a schedule to dress the wound. I just need to dress my wound, is there no exception for the person who needs it urgently?
The staff is really friendly and the place is spotless. However, they made me wait 30 minutes until someone arrived, which is ironic since they will charge $20 buck if you don't show up.
