Besides providing some of the best barbecue in town, Stubb's Bar-B-Q has a huge outdoor venue that can host rock concerts. A brainchild of Christopher B. Stubblefield, the original Stubb's Bar-B-Q was set up in Lubbock; when it shut its doors this Red River location kept up the Stubb tradition of providing delicious barbecued meat, chilled beer and rocking music. Family platters are also served here. Come early to get a bite to eat, then stay and watch the shows.

Our go-to place for great BBQ! Every time I take my family to Austin, we make it a point to eat at Stubbs. The food is always great and the service is even better.
Went for the gospel brunch on Sunday. Come hungry to get your $$ worth! Loud but fun. Brisket and migas were standouts. Bloody Mary bar!
It wasn't quite as good as I'd been told it would be, but we went on a Friday and that's not usually a good night to judge service. The food was pretty good when we went, I'd like to give it another try on a weekday.
Stomach ache – My new husband and I decided to visit this place on a Sunday because he has heard so much about it. The ambience was nice and I was really forward to dining here. We were sooo dissapointed, the waiters were VERY rude and just sitting around by the bar. The food was very mediocre.
