Great doctor but never available. – I've been going to Dr. Lewis for five years and have always really liked him. About a year ago, his fantastic office manager, Adam left and since then, it's been impossible to get in to see him. I was violently ill in December and over the course of two weeks begged and pleaded for the first open appointment. The wait was two weeks. Talented and friendly G.P. – I have been seeing Dr. Lewis for three years, and I am 100% sure he is the best doctor I've ever had. He is friendly, thorough, professional, and almost always on time! The office staff are helpful and also very friendly, and you can even schedule your appointments online. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis.
no time for Lyme disease – I had one previous good experience with the doctor Lewis and I thought I can count on him. However my next attempt to schedule visit was a total disaster - I developed Lyme disease symptoms and the office refused to schedule me in less that 3 weeks!!! I've heard great things, but... – A friend of mine recommended this doctor to me. It seems like he's a great guy, and based off of the other reviews, I'm sure he's an excellent doctor. However, you cannot just call and make an appointment - you must make all appointments through their web service. And after you request an appointment online, you will get an email saying that the earliest he can see you is in a week! A week!! Excellent Doctor and Human Being – I've seen Dr. Lewis for almost 10 years and I find him a wonderful Doctor. He is the most attentive and Personable Doctor I've seen. I recommend him to everyone. He is easy to talk to, a great listener and usually is very easy to see in a pinch. Highly recommend him.
A wonderful doctor and human being. – Dr. Lewis has been my internist for 12 years, and I am so thankful for all he has done for me. Not only is he an excellent doctor who knows his medicine, his mix of honesty, sensitivity and compassion are hallmarks of his care. He has always been there for me with kindness and concern - and sometimes just to set me straight when I needed to hear it. He truly is the platinum standard in medical care.
Great Doctor – I wasnt feeling well and was supposed to see the Dr. the following week just to meet him. I needed a new Primary Care Doctor in NYC. I called to say I was sick could I come in today? They said, No but can you make it tomorrow? I went and was seen within 15 minutes! Fantastic. Dr. Lewis seemed like a very hip but mellow guy. He asks alot of questions and also LISTENS to you. So HAPPY I found him. Cool vibe in office too.
Good doc, good guy – Dr. Lewis is easy-going, no-b.s., totally professional and very accessible. His office operation is great -- very efficient, things run on time (that NEVER happens in other offices), pleasant staff.
Great doctor! I'm very happy. Can't complain about a single thing! – There's little to no waiting time, he listens patiently, the staff is professional, very thorough approach to testing and diagnosis. So glad I found this doctor. I simply don't understand these rambling 1-star reviews and I think it's a shame they are out there. Note that the new address is 594 Broadway, Suite 310!
