Adoptions are stressful, even when they're unchallenged. So much can go wrong and there is only one acceptable outcome. I did a lot of research before engaging Khristan Strubhar to help us adopt our daughter; I'm so glad I did. I was so impressed with her, I hired her again 18 months later to help us adopt our son. I can't give her enough stars.
We were requesting guardianship of our grandchildren because of sexual abuse by their father. DHS had already taken them from their mother for drug abuse. Strubhar was appointed to be the "children's lawyer." She became very upset because at a visit I asked my grandson why he was upset and if anyone was saying bad things to him. She appointed the childrens dad's counselor to supervise our visits. This counselor told me that I needed to "forget" about the molestation of my granddaughter because his goal was to return the kids... read more
She was outstanding, very helpful, upstanding and knowledgeable. I cannot praise her or thank her enough for her service. I highly recommend her.
