I was referred to Dan Wheeler/Strong Oaks by my primary care physician. My initial appointment with Dan was excellent. He was comprehensive in his evaluation. He carefully explained each stage of his examinations, and "translated" all the medical terminology into very understandable terms. He delivered his prognosis ion the day of my appointment, along with a very cool set of videos demonstrating the specific stretches and exercises that he recommended to treat my discomfort. I have had 3 appts w Dan Wheeler. Most notably I appreciate his attentiveness and listening skill and he appears to be particularly well versed to my body and my needs. Likely due to good listening. I look forward to continue to work w this provider who came highly recommended by friends.
I can not say enough about Dan. I have a bad chronic spine issue and have been in PT and many many doctors offices before, mostly back home in Boston but I truly have learned so much more about my condition and how to go through day to day activities from Dan in such a short amount of time. After Rotator Cuff Surgery I went to Dan for rehab. I can't say enough good things about how the rehab went. Dan gave me the tools and really kept me on track. My doctor was really impressed with how much strength and range of motion I had at my 6-month appointment. I would highly recommend Strong Oaks PT!!
