I paid Strong Life a deposit to go ahead with gutter replacement. Once they had my money they went silent and it took 2 months to find a way to get a response from them. I requested my deposit back as they couldn't tell me when they'd get around to doing the work. Once I sent the refund request they again went silent. I chased through consumer affairs who could do nothing as Strong Life wouldn't respond to them either. I still have broken gutters, and I'm also nearly a thousand dollars out of pocket.
Appalling, dishonest, deposit grabbers. You will never see the work done or your money returned.
If I could give a zero I would. 12 months ago I signed a contract and handed over $7500.00 in November 2023. To this day nothing has been done. I have contacted many times and fricken crickets. Recently trying to speak to a manager and promised a call back three times so far and nothing. This is an appalling way to run a business. I scrimped and saved for this and I’m devastated that it looks like I have lost my money. I’m stressed angry and upset to be treated this way. Would never recommend them
Engaged SLG after gaining quotes from some other firms to complete new gutter fascia and downpipes at our house in Essendon. Read some excellent reviews here about SLG and decided to go with them. Absolutely rapt with the workmanship, quality and overall outcome. Matt and Dwayne are guns! Excellent work ethic, punctual and care for their work.
