Avoid this inpatient facility, unless you want your mental condition to dramatically get worse. I have been misdiagnosed, given wrong medication, been wrongfully discharged and even experienced complete neglect when I sustained a visibly serious injury that was accidental. Unfortunately, it's too late for any legal action to be taken, as Dr. Bussy and Dr. Mustafa failed to properly treat my failing mental state at that time, and henceforth discharging me just to be hospitalized again 2 weeks later. This place is genuinely useless. My mother has been sent here god knows how many times for her pretty severe mental issues that keep getting worse by the year. Just sent here again for doing damage to our house and then showing concerning behaviors in public within two days and they released her way too soon, like always, and she is now back and immediately showing signs of being unwell. Useless place. Useless staff.
I have been a patient at the Flaum Eye Institute for 15 years, Eastman Dental, Neurology Dept., Gastoenenterogy Dept. Behavioral Health outpatient, and CPaP. All provide excellent care and the staff is compassionate and professional. However I was a patient in-house Psych Dept. twice. Both were nightmares. I was there for medication adjustments. The doctors gave me the wrong meds. One left out 3 BP meds which I take daily. I caught the mistake after a week and they had to keep me another week to lower my BP. They operate as ... read more
Never get on their radar. There is NO mobility towards success for an academic once ensnared. Due to the sheer number of people in their system, I am not even sure they have proper protocol from doctoring of reports or abuse of doctoring of reports. They also consistently employ coersive tactics to bring people in the office without communication or negotiation as a possibly normal protocol, when for a person of a particular asexuality, they experience, recognize, and are forced to tolerate a level of coersion on a regular b... read more
