My apartment at 127th under Striver's management flooded 9 times from the rain. Each time I was gaslighted with the excuses by their weekday contract staff and management that it was because of leaves getting in drainage. It was not, I had a structural engineer family member look at it. My apartment was not the only one, multiple apartments above and below me had the same issues. The broker named Andrei does not accept anyone using a voucher. When I informed that I had a voucher, he said he would call me back. Then he blocked my number. Has anyone else had this experience? I don't think it's legal.

Just moved into my new apartment and everything’s been great so far! The building is clean, the staff are really nice, and special thanks to the leasing agent Andrei for helping me through the whole process

The broker Andrei Zaharia will turn you away or stop responding to you the moment he finds out you have a voucher or are part of any kind of program. He will lie and say the apartment is rented or stop responding to your enquiry the moment he finds out. I have filed a complaint with REBNY. I was advised that anyone who has experienced this sort of treatment from this broker should report him to REBNY or the department of state.
