My time at Strive did not support my growth in the role of Operations Coordinator. Unfortunately, the workplace culture was not conducive to development, and leadership offered limited guidance or encouragement for improvement. The organization also experiences a high level of turnover, which I now understand given my experience there.
Strive Health Services was my first job moving down to Austin, TX, and I took a massive pay-cut from my previous work in a nursing home in a rural part of NWPA. We had been looking for speech services for our daughter, but the group we started with had high turn over and couldn’t keep anyone in staff to fit her schedule. Then, we found Strive, who offers home based services, which made it MUCH easier on our schedule and both speech therapists we’ve had, Liz and Mandi, are amazing.
