Navy only makes E-6 rank, so there is extra chevrons to cut off if you are a lower rank. The lady was complaining very rudely about that and then promoted me to a E-4.5 by not fully cutting the extra chevrons off before sewing the rank on. The dress whites I dropped off were perfectly White. The ones I got back were covered in soy sauce stains. And the lady absolutely refused to give me a receipt. They should be investigated for overcharging. Went in there today, September 8th, and the prices were more expensive. They tried charging me almost $30 to sew on the airborne tab and arctic tab on the unit patch. When I asked about the price and why it’s so expensive, they said the prices for sewing on patches were not on the board. I then asked where they came up with that price and they couldn’t give me a straight answer. Overcharging or price gauging shouldn’t be allowed on this instillation. Crazy pricing, $83 dollars for alternations to a blues jacket and stripes. In addition employees not very nice Everytime I have came to get help. I have spoken to many different people who go to them and say the same thing.
Do not go here. Avoid at all cost. Charged me $75 to put rank on 4 flight suits. She started tallying up random items that I hadn’t asked for. Taking tabs off, then re sewing them back together when it ripped, etc etc. I had her tally up everything because it was all scribbles on a sheet. Each time she did, it came to a different amount. Finally fed up, I gave up and paid a ridiculous amount. Do whatever possible to not go here.
