Stripers(formerly the Breakwater Hotel) is where I proposed to my wife of 36 years and our post wedding party was there too so we have warm feelings for the place. Our family of four (kids' ages 7 & 5) enjoyed an early dinner here on Friday evening and were tremendously impressed with the view (definitely request a window seat!), the quality of the food (especially for the price, which is very fair), and the terrific service. Our waiter Alonzo was attentive and prompt at delivering beverages and refills. The beer selection is large (15 beers or so on draft, mostly craft and local) and the seafood is fresh. Chef Nick has an incredible touch for creating a simple, flavorful and balanced meal. Highly recommend the pumpkin ravioli and chocolate tarte
We came here for a rehearsal dinner. The setting was picturesque and the service was excellent. And of course the lobster was fantastic!!
We had an amazing time! What a view of the boats going by. Ben was a wonderful waiter who looked out for us constantly! Definitely a keeper!!
