Andy McCormick is a nightmare. He Somehow missed over 25k of damage on my foundation, water damage in bathroom ceiling, and the guy thought the stove was a special electric stove that needed special pans to turn on… I took his word for it until the final walk through when I said “let me see if thing is plugged in,” it wasn’t, and it turned right on. We’re in the hole 10s of thousands of dollars in repairs, and all things that Andy McCormicn and Striler should have noticed and advised me on.
Would highly recommend Striler Home Inspections to anyone looking for a home inspection! Appointment was quick and easy to make online. Mark was amazing, very detailed and explained every bit of the home to us. It was evident that Mark was extremely knowledgeable and took pride in his work. They also offer a VA discount which was the cherry on top.
I was extremely pleased with my inspection. Marc was great. He explained everything very clearly, and frequently paused to ask if I had any questions. I felt the inspection was very thorough and to the point. I appreciate that the report arrived quickly, and that everything was categorized in terms of importance of repair. I had a follow-up question for Marc, and he followed up promptly to answer. In addition, the operations staff is on top of things and very friendly!
It was a pleasure working with Greg and having him help us in the process of buying our first house. He was very thorough and made sure to explain all things he found, and especially the more important finds that would be things we would want to work on first after purchasing. We really appreciated Greg explaining his finds in a language that we could understand, leading to nothing in the inspection report coming as a surprise to us. I would highly recommend hiring Greg for your inspection!
