This is my all-time favorite place! Every time I come home for a visit I have to stop here! I love the various fresh flavors, especially black raspberry, which is really hard to find anywhere near as good!
Always a fun time going to the original Strickland's, no matter how old you are and how far you have to drive. I was born and raised in Goodyear Hts. and Strickland's has always been a favorite; an Akron icon!
I've been going to Stricklands since 1953 and my parents were going there years before that. Absolutely love their frozen custard. It is a testament to why they are still going strong after all these years. It is an Akron tradition!!!
VERY overrated and VERY overpriced.Give me a McDonald's sundea over this cheeky crap anyday.
Best custard I have ever had! I wish we had a Strickland's where I live now in North Carolina. So Many great memories growing up coming to Strickland's!

Best ice cream in town we don't even mind waiting in line.They are very fast and friendly.
Always visit when I'm home (college student). Strickland's is a must, especially when I bring friends home!
