Its not signposted but use Google Map marker to find it. Only a short walk to the bottom of the Falls.

We stopped in hoping to spot a platypus — no luck this time, but it was still such a beautiful little spot! The falls are right by the road, and the short walk through the surrounding bush is peaceful and lush, especially after rain. It feels like a hidden pocket of nature just minutes from the city. Easy access, relaxing atmosphere, and well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back (and still keeping our eyes out for that platypus!).

It is no wonder that these falls are described as seldom visited by the residents of Hobart despite the alleged short walk from the carpark! There is NO signage to point out the path to take from the point of entry into the forest. The path from the small carpark peters out 200m later. There is no signage as to the scramble to then take from three apparent options - up a steep muddy ridge to the left, go straight on and scramble over a log then cross the stream or down to the right and across the stream.
