Excellent programming plus many extra benefits from meeting with others for both caregivers and the kids!
They work very well with kids, teach them how to interact with peers and what is socially acceptable anf what is not, how to make friends, how yo do when there ia bullying, etc. Excellent program.
The PEERS program was a really helpful experience for our kids with autism, especially in building social communication and friendship skills. We appreciated that it was cohort-based, allowing the participants to learn and practice alongside peers facing similar challenges. The parent sessions were also extremely valuable, giving us practical strategies to reinforce the skills at home and better support our children. Helpful program for my child. It gave us a common language to discuss social/ peer/ friends issues. Positive changes in my child's behavior and better boundaries.
It was a great group experience for my daughter. She learned a lot and has used the tools she has learned at home and at school. It was also a fun and encouraging experience for me to get to meet other parents who have the same struggles that we do.
