Love this diner. We are regulars for breakfast which is always fantastic. Last week I experimented with several selections on the new dinner menu. Very, very delicious. This is a smart menu that will have broad appeal, and being able to select portion size is also a plus. I can vouch for the Harissa Mint Rubbed Chicken Kebab that comes with rice and salad. So good I ordered a second. Also, tried the Pulled Port Tacos, and again ordered a second. New menu is so enticing and healthy, I'll be there often.

Arrived on a medium busy Sunday, put our name on the waiting list for two. After about a twenty minute wait another couple several slots down the list was seated ahead of us...no big deal, we pointed it out and the next available seat was promised to us. After being seated they came to us and asked us to give up the table for another couple that was ahead of us on the list, no apology for the error, no offer of another seat. What a fun little restaurant with not your average bunch fair. So many delicious and healthy choices. This was our first time at the SD, though we spend every summer in Poulsbo. I've walked by SD a million times but never gave it a try because it always looked so busy. I'm so glad we finally gave it a chance. There were three parties ahead of us but the 25 minute wait was totally worth it. Cheers!
