It's a very old building infested with cockroaches. I once had a cockroach literally fall out of the ceiling fan vent when I was in the bathroom. The landlords tried to tell me that I wasn't clean—I saw cockroaches the second day I moved in. Once the bathroom of my upstairs neighbor overflowed and brown water was leaking into my apartment. The landlords didn't tell me what was happening but since the walls are paper thin I heard my neighbors talking about it. Save yourself the trouble.

Tried to rent am apartment here last year. I was in the apartment with the owner showing me around when I asked if you can hear the train all the time. I understand that hearing the train honk at the middle of the night is part of Davis life in general. What I don't understand is why the owner looked into my eyes and said "NO, YOU CANNOT HEAR THE TRAIN HERE!" Funny thing is that right that moment a train passed and we both heard it!!
