I am part of a volunteer Search and Rescue K9 Team who recently trained at the Strategic Operations compound in San Diego for the Scentsable K9 human remains "I Smell Dead People 6.0" seminar. I, along with 10 other K9 handlers took part in this training. We worked in realistic building and vehicle searches in some very unique settings. This gave us both the humans and their K9s a whole different atmosphere to work in or out of their comfort zones. Had a heck of a good time with these folks and learned a ton. Always great to have opportunities to work with other agencies from other states. They have quite a cool set-up here.
