One of the best run tourist railroads I’ve ever seen. They do a very nice job of giving the place an old time feeling and the very real historic rolling stock is immaculately restored. The equipment probably looks better than when it first rolled out of the factory. If you have never seen a live steam locomotive at work, you need to visit this place. Across the street is the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, a world class operation dedicated to railroading in the state of Pennsylvania. You can spend several hours there.
This is a beautiful ride! It was nice to sit back and get to take it all in. Consider a year membership, you can’t beat the price!
What a hidden gem of a place this is. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
