We are Richmond Virginia's largest family run florist, greenhouse and garden center. Started by Mr. G. A. Strange in 1935. We have been growing for 75 years to provide the best green products for the Richmond community. With four generations of experience and 4 retail locations, we're here for you Every Bloomin' Time!

From being out-of town, this place was really cool to visit. Some items were priced to high but decent. Would come back.
When my son's prom date's corsage did not arrive from the online florist in time, I went into Strange's in a complete panic!! They were SO busy but also so kind and compassionate, and were able to make me a simple one on the spot. I am forever grateful!
Nice plants, good selection of vegetable plants in the spring. Wish they had more straight species native plants.
Small parking lot, large facility. You are greeted with a beautifully landscaped store front. It entices you inside to see what else they have to offer. Just go ahead and get a cart. You will need it, no matter how much you say that you're just there to look! Excellent signage helps you along the way.
