We had an excellent experience having our kitchen remodeled by Straight Line Design and Remodeling. Matt(owner) and Nikki, one of his designers, listened to our wants and worked with us to plan a new kitchen to reflect our needs and style. The project was projected to total 6-8 weeks. We worked with Straight Line to remodel two of our bathrooms and they did a fantastic job. Matt and Carly's expertise was great to have in the design and ideation phase. Once the building started, Nick did a great job of keeping us informed and on-track to meet our deadline. We're very happy with the end result. The 1-year warranty on their work is great too, we've asked them to come out once since completion for a minor touch up. Great experience, would definitely work with them again.
Straight Line designed and built our home renovation that converted our garage into a new primary bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet, and laundry/storage room. They were great communicators throughout the process, were very easy to work with, and completed a beautiful addition to our home. We felt comfortable and confident with them from beginning to end.
We sought multiple opinions and bids when initially considering our kitchen remodel project. When we reached out to Straight Line, the company owner himself visited our house and patiently listened to my vision as I described our needs. He then proceeded to reiterate my thoughts and ideas, applying his own construction remodeling knowledge to them. Straight Line did a large project for me. They tore down my detached garage and built a 600 sqft. ADU in its place. The whole process went smoothly and efficiently, and the end result was an absolutely magnificent ADU. I've been renting it on Airbnb and every single guest has left feedback about what an amazing space it is. I think it might be the coolest ADU of its type and size in Portland!
